|WELCOME to Zonta Pontiac-North Oakland President: Marilyn Valeri Colton|
Our Zonta Club has been serving the local community since 1927. In those 90 years over $500,000 has been contributed to benefit local women.
We are one of over 1,200 clubs of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization. Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, Zonta takes its name from the Lakota Sioux Indian word meaning “honest and trustworthy.” Zontians volunteer their time, talents and treasure to local and international service projects that are designed to advance the status of women through service and advocacy.
Our 90th anniversary celebration will take place Saturday, December 9, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Auburn Hills, MI.
Program – celebrate our history – imagine our future
Remembrance Booklet – club history and congratulation messages
Come hear our stories, celebrate our achievements, and launch us into the next 90 years of empowering women through service and advocacy
