The Foundation

Our Zonta International Foundation has recently updated its name to Zonta Foundation for Women. This change more clearly emphasizes our ongoing commitment to women.

Since 1923, Zonta International has provided more than US$41.2 million to empower women and girls and expand their access to education, health care, economic opportunities and safe living conditions. Through donations to the Zonta International Foundation, Zonta improves women’s lives, their children’s lives and the communities in which they live and work. Join us in making gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide. 100 percent of all donations to the Zonta International Foundation go directly to program support. The administrative expenses of the Foundation are covered by a grant from Zonta International and interest income.

District 15 is proud to announce that we have 100% giving from all of our clubs to the Foundation for the previous biennium.

Lets keep up the good work !!

Our Every Member Every November Foundation campaign kicks off Nov. 1, 2020
The campaign this year encourages support from ALL Districts !   (you may click on the Every Member Every November logo to reach the District 15 challenge link)

The first Challenge will take place between Nov.1 and Nov. 8.  The first 8 districts to get 101 donations, in honor of our 101 years of service, will receive a featured spot on the My Zonta website page.  (if every member that joined in for our Governor’s Summit gave $10.00,  we would raise over $101.00)

The Second Challenge takes place between Nov. 10 and Nov 20.  The district that has the most members make a first time donation to the Foundation will win a special mention on social media.  Come on all first time donations !!

The Final Bonus Challenge will take place on Dec. 1st, which is also Giving Tuesday.  The district that raises the most money on this day will receive a special video message from International President Sharon Langenbeck.  What a wonderful win that would be for District 15.

The district that raises the most money throughout the entire campaign will receive a full-page profile in The Zontian.  It would be great to see our own District 15 honored in this way !

The Challenge will take place on the Go Fund Me platform with a minimum donation of $10.    GoFundMe is being used because it allows us to have individual district pages.  Each district has its own specific link.  Our link will be  It will be activated on November 1st.
