Our Programs of Education

Zonta is dedicated to achieving gender equality in education and supports scholarships, fellowships and awards for women and girls pursuing education and careers in these traditionally male-dominated fields.

The ZONTA CLUB OF ROGERS CITY AREA will award three
$1,000.00 scholarships to deserving women. One scholarship will be
awarded to a high school female senior in Presque Isle County, one
scholarship will be awarded to a currently enrolled female
college/university student, and one scholarship will be awarded to a
non-traditional student pursuing an education.

Applicants will be chosen on a competitive basis according to the
following criteria: academic standing, active participation in school,
church, community and service organizations and special
achievements or honors for service. Zonta will also consider
financial need and career goals and the content of the application,
including the ability to communicate, expression of Zonta’s ideals
and insight into applicant’s character.

The Zonta Club of Rogers City Area is an international association
of professional women dedicated to the advancement and welfare of
women worldwide as well as right here in the Rogers City area.

Applications for the scholarships are available from the Rogers City,
Onaway and Posen High School counselors, any Zonta member or click the link below.
Completed forms must be turned into the scholarship committee by
