Zonta Club of Alpena

Scholarships

Zonta Club of Gaylord

Charter Date:

The Zonta Club of Gaylord Area supplies annual scholarships to Graduating High School Seniors in Otsego County, a local Young Women in Public Affairs Award, Inland Seas Young Women in Science Scholarship, plus an annual scholarship through the Women’s Resource Center to support a survivor returning to school.  We also act as a funnel to the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Award, Women in Technology Scholarship, Women in Business Scholarship and the Amelia Earhart Fellowship.

We invite our local scholarship winners to participate in the Alpenfest Parade.  This makes our scholarship winners feel special, provides intellectual role models for young girls watching the parade, and illustrates to our community how their donations were utilized.

All scholarship applications must be submitted to gaylordzonta@gmail.com
